The Discover feature allows you to access a dedicated Superset environment, where you can query and visualize ingested data. When you curate, process, and organize this ingested data based on your business needs, you create a data product. Within Superset, you can then retrieve actionable insights from these data products to support decision-making.

All Discover features are available in Superset. The key features include:
  • Metrics: Provides a consistent way to calculate and report important numbers for your team
  • Charts: Displays a single view of data and supports chart management
  • Dashboards: Displays multiple charts and metrics
  • SQL Lab: Web editor for querying a dataset using SQL
  • Database connectivity: Connects to over seventy databases
  • Alerts: Sends dashboard or chart alerts via email
