You can lauch various hosted apps such as Apache Airflow, Apache NiFi, DataHub, JupyterHub, Metabase, Ranger, or Trino. This helpful when you want to interact directly with the app via its UI.

Prerequisite

Appropriate permission, such as nx1_ingest. This depends on your use case. For example, when you ingest a dataset and want to query it, you can launch the Metabase app.

Launch a hosted app

Perform these steps to launch a hosted app.
  1. Log in to NexusOne.
  2. On the NexusOne homepage, click Connect.
  3. On the top navigation bar, hover your mouse over Connect and then select Hosted Apps. Alternatively, you can also click the grid icon at the bottom of the page to view all hosted apps.
  4. Select the app you’d like to launch.
