You can delete and archive a semantic model when it’s no longer needed, and you want to permanently remove it. All its SQL definitions, Superset dashboard, and Airflow DAGs are also deleted. You must first undeploy the semantic model before deleting it.
Deleting a semantic model can’t be undone.

Prerequisites

  • Appropriate permission: nx1_semantic_admin or nx1_semantic_modeller
  • An existing semantic model not deployed

Delete and archive a semantic model

Perform these steps to delete and archive a semantic model.
  1. Log in to NexusOne.
  2. On the top navigation bar, hover your mouse over Catalog & Models and then select Semantic Models.
  3. Scroll through the table and click the three dots, ..., at the right on your selected semantic model.
  4. Click Delete, confirm your selection by clicking Archive.
A successful status message in the bottom-right corner of the screen confirming your selection.
