You can create a subgroup when you want hierarchy within an existing group. For example, a main group called Engineering can have subgroups such as Frontend, Backend, and DevOps.

Create a subgroup

Perform these steps to create a subgroup.
  1. Log in to NexusOne.
  2. On the NexusOne homepage, click Govern.
  3. On the top navigation bar, hover your mouse over Govern and then select IAM.
  4. Scroll down to the “Groups” table and then click the plus + icon in the top right corner.
  5. Enter the group name in the Group Name field.
  6. Select an existing group in the Parent Group field. This becomes the parent group.
  7. Click Create Group.
