You can inspect a semantic model to view who owns it, when they created or deployed it, details about the materialized view, and the lifecycle audit history.

Prerequisites

Before starting this task, ensure you have the following:
  • Appropriate permissions: nx1_semantic_admin, nx1_semantic_modeller, or nx1_semantic_user
  • An existing semantic model

View a semantic model

Perform these steps to view a semantic model.
  1. Log in to NexusOne.
  2. On the top navigation bar, hover your mouse over Catalog & Models and then select Semantic Models.
  3. The Semantic Models page includes two tables:
    • In the All Models table, scroll and select a semantic model. The tabs include the following:
      • Overview: Displays details such as the domain, source tables, view name, who owns the semantic model, its creation and deployment date.
      • Columns: Displays columns in the materialized view table.
      • SQL: Displays the SQL command used to compute the materialized view table.
      • Audit Log: Displays logs of user activity from the creation to the deployment of the semantic model.
    • In the Pending Models table, scroll to view all models that are waiting for a review.
  4. To filter semantic models by status, click All Statuses at the top right corner of the page and then select a status.
