# Delete a role

> Delete a role when it's no longer needed.

You can delete a role when you no longer need it.

<Warning>Deleting a role can't be undone.</Warning>

## Delete a role

Perform these steps to delete a role.

1. Log in to NexusOne.
2. On the top navigation bar, hover your mouse over **Govern** and then select **IAM**.
3. Scroll to the "Team roles" table and locate the role that you want to delete.
4. Click **Delete** and confirm your selection.
